Why Didn't My Campaign Send?

If a campaign shows a status of Paused, Failed, or delivered zero messages, work through the checklist below to identify the cause.

Check campaign status

Go to Campaigns > History and click the campaign name. The Delivery Log tab shows per-message status and any error codes.

Common causes

No eligible contacts The audience segment matched zero contacts after opt-out filtering. Review your audience filters and confirm the list contains opted-in contacts for the chosen channel.

Sender not verified SMS campaigns require a verified 10DLC phone number. Go to Settings > Senders and confirm your sending number shows a green Verified badge. Unverified numbers cannot send to US recipients.

Quiet-hours block ClinicReach blocks sends outside 8 AM–9 PM in the recipient's local time zone. If your scheduled send time fell outside this window for all recipients, the messages were held and delivered at the next available window.

Campaign not activated Draft campaigns must be explicitly activated. Confirm the campaign is in Active or Scheduled status, not Draft.

Billing hold If your account has an outstanding payment, outbound sends may be paused until the balance is resolved. Check Settings > Billing for any alerts.

Still not resolved?

Open a support ticket and include the campaign ID (visible in the URL when you open the campaign detail page). Our team can review server-side delivery logs.
